This 1934 Aston Martin Mark 11 was detailed for the AMOC Spring Concours in 2011, a proper team effort from the Sportscar Protection boys the car took around 40 hours to complete,
The car won the Arthur Sutherland Trophy, given by the Aston Martin Owners Club for being the best kept pre-war car of the year and for scoring the most points in the two AMOC concours of 2011
The previous owner had the car for 29 years having purchased it in bits in the late 70’s. It was rebuilt, not restored, and some re-spraying done, but not a full re-spray so a lot of the paintwork is more than 32 years old
It is especially noteworthy as the car was used regularly for racing, rallies and tours in Europe and the UK, In 2011 it covered over 3,000 miles while winning the trophy.
